Ammon Applied University College (AAUC) was established in 1980.
AAUC is a premier university level college in Jordan which specializes in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, and Events Business Management on Bachelor, Diploma, and training diploma levels. It also offers the Tour Guiding program.
AAUC is dedicated to provide a modern, high quality education for students intending to make Hospitality their knowledge, skills, career and marketability.
AAUC enjoys the collaboration and support of its stakeholders, who are leaders in Hospitality and Tourism industries in Jordan.
AAUC was awarded the tedQual Certification from the UNWTO Themis Foundation to become the first university college in the Middle East and North Africa to obtain the Tourism Education Quality Certification in Hotel Management. AAUC also received the certificate of Women Empowerment from Centre Stage/ UNWTO, and it was the first academic institution to be listed on the Jordan National Qualification Framework (JNQF).
Also, AAUC obtained the first prize of El Hassan bin Talal Award for Scientific Excellence for its project: “Institute Success Story”.
AAUC is internationally recognized through its quality of education, training and its international organization membership, i.e. UNWTO, EURHODIP, I-CHRIE, and AHA. In addition, it has many collaborative agreements with universities in the USA and Europe.
